Don’t miss the most important rare disease conference of the year

The three-day conference will be held at the Management Centre Europe (MCE) Conference Centre in Brussels, Belgium from 23 - 25 May 2012. The advanced programme is now available in English. Other languages will be updated soon. ECRD 2012 Brussels also includes:

• The EURORDIS Membership Meeting with six capacity building workshops and six forums to promote exchange of experience amongst patient advocates. The workshops will focus on building blocks for national plans. The forums will enable quick learning from each other in advocacy, communication and fund raising
• An Investors' forum bringing together private investors and pharmaceutical and biotech companies, under the auspices of the EURORDIS Round Table of Companies (ERTC) and NORD Corporate Council to promote networking and investment in Europe for the development of rare disease therapies.
• Tutorials on Orphan Drug Development, Orphan Drug Designation and Marketing Authorisation, Registries and Health Technology Assessment for Rare Diseases, intended for professionals working in industry or in academic research teams - also open to patient representatives.
