Public Affairs Senior Manager / Director

EURORDIS is recruiting a Public Affairs Director in Brussels, an essential member of the European and International Advocacy team of EURORDIS.  The Public Affairs Director is at the forefront of EURORDIS advocacy and has a leading role in voicing and formulating the needs of people living with rare diseases to influence EU and international policies and legislation with an impact on their lives.

EURORDIS is looking for candidates committed to working for a health-related, non-profit organisation and familiar with the cause of rare diseases.  The ideal candidate comfortably navigates the Brussels’ bubble and has a robust understanding of the current major drivers of the public health policy debate in Europe, in particular issues related to access to medicines and sustainability of healthcare systems.

We are looking for a motivated hard-worker, with strong communication and writing skills, ability to take initiatives and strategic thinking. The position is Brussels-based and it involves regular travelling within Europe.
