Anja Helm

Anja Helm is responsible for two-way communication between Eurordis and its members. Her role is to develop the network of rare disease patient organisations, reaching out to as many rare diseases and EU countries as possible, and to empower patient groups through information and networking. She organises the Annual Membership Meeting.

Anja joined Eurordis in July 2005, bringing expertise in managing European membership networks, conference organisation and information communication to the position. She has over fifteen years experience working in an international environment and speaks four European languages. Anja has lived with Guillain-Barré syndrome. She is married with two children.
