Fabrizia Bignami

Fabrizia Bignami heads the Research & Therapeutic Development team at Eurordis. Her responsibilities include managing European projects such as EuroBioBank and the EurordisCare survey programme; developing and organizing the Eurordis Round Table of Companies (ERTC); and patient-oriented orphan drug activities, such as representation at the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) and surveys of access to orphan drugs in Europe. Fabrizia is also active in promoting patient group involvement in EC-funded research projects (the Framework Programmes).

Fabrizia was born in Italy and has lived in Paris for many years.
