Jill Bonjean

Jill Bonjean joined EURORDIS in 2010 as Communications and Development Director.

Jill heads the Communications team which aims to increase awareness of the rare disease cause and EURORDIS actions to empower rare disease patients.

She also works to engage companies, foundations and individuals to ensure funding for EURORDIS, including its core activities as well as special projects such as the online Rare Disease Communities project.

Jill has more than 15 years experience raising funds and building relationships for non-profit organisations in the areas of health, anti-poverty and education.

Prior to joining EURORDIS, she served in patient relations at the American Hospital of Paris, and in grants management at Neighborcare Health, a leading provider of primary medical and dental care for low-income, uninsured and underinsured people in Seattle, Washington.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Concordia College located in the US state of Minnesota.

A native English speaker, Jill also speaks French.
