This is a presentation made at the European Workshop 'Bridging Patients and Researchers to Build the Future Agenda for Rare Disease Research in Europe', which took place in Brussels, Belgium on March 1st, 2010.
The Workshop was organised by EURORDIS and co-organised with E-RARE in partnership with the European Commission, Orphanet and EuroPlan. It marked the European event for Rare Disease Day 2010.
