Eva Bearryman

Eva Bearryman is Communications Manager at EURORDIS, based at the Paris office.

She is responsible for media relations, the EURORDIS eNews, member news, social media and website content and also works on campaigns including Rare Disease Day and communication activity around EURORDIS events. 

Her passion for healthcare communications stemmed from her experiences working at medical communication agencies in both London and Paris, as well as from her time at the London office of medical NGO Doctors Without Borders.

Eva studied for a BA in Political Science at the University of Leeds, during which time she also spent a year studying at Sciences Po Strasbourg and working at the European Parliament.

Originally from London and of Irish descent, Eva lived in France several times prior to starting at EURORDIS and also lived in Porto Alegre, Brazil while working as an English teacher.

Her mother tongue is English and she speaks fluent French and basic Spanish.
