Karolina Hanslik

  • Project Senior Manager - Rare Impact

Karolina Hanslik joined EURORDIS in 2019 as Project Senior Manager working on the Rare Impact project.

Before joining EURORDIS, Karolina worked at the European Commission Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) dealing with various policy areas including data protection in health, eHealth (patient registries), and health technology assessment (working on coordination of EUnetHTA). Prior to that, she worked for the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation, HOPE, for seven years.

Karolina has been living in Brussels since she moved there to study for her master’s in European Studies at ULB in 2001. She also studied on the Science Po programme at the Institute of Political Sciences in Katowice and Bordeaux.

Karolina is Polish and also she speaks English, French, Italian and some Spanish. She has two children and is a member of the Belgian Association of Esophageal Atresia (ABEFAO).
