Solange Rohou PhotoSolange Rohou is a chest physician and an immuno-allergist by training. Since 2003, she has been responsible for European regulatory affairs & Policy at AstraZeneca R&D. Over the past 18 years, moving from the French Medicines Agency to Pharmaceutical Industry, she has gained strategic experience in drug development in different therapeutic areas, eg respiratory and inflammation.

Solange, in her role as the chair of the Clinical Development Committee at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), has organized jointly with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) several workshops and joined ICH (International Conference of Harmonisation) activities. She is currently the EFPIA topic leader for the revision of the ICH E11 paediatric guideline. She has also experience working in Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) projects, and recently agreed to lead the EFPIA consortium that should develop an enabling platform on medicines adaptive pathways to patients.
