The EUROPLAN Project
The EUROPLAN project, co-funded by the European Commission, is designed to support the efforts of national authorities to develop public health strategies on rare diseases throughout Europe following common guidelines. National conferences, aimed at promoting rare disease plans, are organised in European countries.
The success of the first set of 15 EUROPLAN conferences (2010-2011) has led to further continue this project within the EUCERD Joint Action (2012-2015), in order to help achieve the objective set in the Council Recommendation: implementing plans on rare diseases in each EU country by the end of 2013.
