ERTC Workshop 16Held for the first time in the Belgian capital, this workshop explored the benefits of working with patients along the treatment lifecycle in the areas of clinical trials, regulatory affairs and health technology assessment. The need for patients to be empowered and therefore trained was emphasised and the EURORDIS Summer School and EUPATI project were described.
