Zoe Alahouzou joined EURORDIS in 2012 and is currently Senior Research Manager within the Research Policy & Initiatives Team.
Zoe’s role focuses on advancing research initiatives and partnerships that aim to enhance the rare disease (RD) research landscape and improve the lives of people living with rare diseases (PLWRD). In her role, Zoe works with RD stakeholders and partners to identify best practices and develop strategic recommendations to promote the adoption of innovative tools within the rare disease field and to inform advocacy efforts and funding priorities in RD research.
Zoe holds an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Biotherapies from Université Paris-Saclay, and a BSc in Natural Sciences from Durham University. She is fluent in English, Greek and French.
