Stanislav Ostapenko joined EURORDIS in January 2021. As the Director of Communications, he plays a key role in the growth of EURORDIS’ impact and influence, developing a cohesive communications strategy and leading the communications and Rare Disease Day teams.
Before joining EURORDIS, Stanislav worked as a Communications Consultant at UNESCO, focusing on human rights, ethics of AI, and social and human sciences. He also held positions at the OSCE ODIHR in Warsaw and the American Councils in Kyiv, where he was responsible for creating and delivering communication plans for various events.
Stanislav holds a Master’s degree in European Public Affairs and Policy from the College of Europe and is fluent in English, French, Ukrainian, and Russian.
