Andrea joined EURORDIS in April 2021.
As part of the communication team, Andrea provides communication work around the Rare Barometer surveys: encouraging participation, formatting the results, and informing on the outcomes of the studies.This includes developing communications and outreach materials, writing and distributing social media content, and helps with translations. She also supports communications around other EURORDIS projects and programmes.
Prior to joining EURORDIS Andrea worked in a parliamentarian network in Brussel working on women’s reproductive health and rights. She also has experience working as a journalist. In her spare time Andrea volunteers as a social media manager in a youth organisation established as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in History and a MPhil. in Global Development with a specialisation in Gender Analysis from the University of Bergen. During her studies she spent one year at Aberystwyth University in Wales, and participated in a summer school at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban.
Andrea speaks Norwegian, English, and is learning French.
